About Us
You know how Buddhism says the path to Enlightenment can’t be described in words? Well, I always wondered if it could be described any other way. Unbound Creation allows me to explore that question through the most human of ways: creative expression.
In the end, I want to have a production company geared towards creating original dance music, song remixes, animated short films, short stories, poetry, music videos and anything else I may come to enjoy in this lifetime as I align with what feels good and interesting to me.

You know how Buddhism says the path to Enlightenment can’t be described in words? Well, I always wondered if it could be described any other way. Unbound Creation allows me to explore that question through the most human of ways: creative expression.

I’m a self-taught illustrator, animator, photographer, graphic designer, writer and storyteller currently based in Sarasota, Florida. Ever-curious from a young age, I thought I wanted to be a scientist for the first maybe 16 or 17 years of my life. I was all into the pursuit of knowledge and understanding and it was equipped with that drive that I went to college. There I studied Biochemistry which I found fascinating, especially the parts about DNA (and RNA) – the seeds of life itself.
Really, though, I always had this lurking feeling that I didn’t want a traditional career at all, so I ultimately went to college for the experience of it – and I’m glad I did. This was the first time I was surrounded by people who had a lot of the same interests, perspectives and desires as me and it was eventually their example combined with my deep desire to have a life unique and true to me that led me to promise myself to eventually become self-employed.
The year after graduating an especially salient realization hit me. I was imbued with memories of staying up late at night as a kid watching independent short films on YouTube – and, trust me, I like my sleep. Then I realized that animation (I mostly watched animated short films) combined literally all my established interests so far: story telling, drawing, problem-solving, and music/sound production. That was enough for me to finally decide to give this art thing a try. And so here I am. Since getting into animation, I’ve revisited and revived my past interests of drawing and photography and picked up a lot of new skills, mostly in the digital realm, like working in Krita, GIMP, Davinci Resolve, and WordPress.
It just feels right. The more I’ve matured and learned, the more I’ve become interested in inviting awareness, presence and intuition into my life rather than pursuing knowledge. We can never really know everything and we can’t even be sure that what we “know” is true, so what’s the point? Better just to celebrate life for what it is and I think art is one of the best ways to do that.
I wanted my logo to encapsulate three things: the concept that life is creation and that therefore creation is life, the unleashing of something that at one point was bound, and, finally, the idea that everything is eventually recycled into everything else, partly as a way to pay tribute to my scientific background.
I first and foremost focused my efforts around showing something that was once bound becoming unbound. At first I considered making this object a box, but I felt that was a little too abstract and unrelatable. That’s when I thought of an egg, a well-known symbol of life and creation!
After some research, I found that eggs are representative of both the feminine and the masculine, the sun and light, creativity (not just creation), the cycle of life and death, and the universe. There’s also something called the Orphic egg or Cosmic egg, which is often depicted with a snake wrapped around it and snakes, I had recently found out, are also symbolic of the feminine. Ultimately, I quickly came to realize that the humble egg has been revered throughout history and by countless cultures and that it was exactly the symbol I was looking for to represent Unbound Creation.
